The Americas’ New Terminal Technology Hub
The Gateway to Global Trade Connectivity
Back by popular demand, the Container Terminal Automation Conference Americas (CTAC) returns to Panama for an even bigger second edition.
Join the region’s leading port, terminal, and technology experts as they explore the trends shaping the future of Latin American ports, from automation and digitalisation to decarbonisation and operational excellence.
The momentum is building. Be part of the conversation driving the next generation of container terminals.
About CTAC Americas
The Container Terminal Automation Conference has a rich history in Europe with 10 years of our flagship conference, and now we are thrilled to be building our community in the Americas.
Automation is only part of the story. CTAC is where Latin American ports and terminals, big and small, come together to swap market intelligence, work through the operational problems they all run into, and figure out what adopting new technology looks like in practice. It’s a community as much as a conference.
CTAC Americas provides the perfect mix of conference content, exhibition and networking.
More on Our Format Copy:
The CTAC formula, when the conference is in session, the entire audience is in the room together. Our single-stream format means everyone hears the same conversation, with no competing tracks to pull the room apart. We pair that focused content with purpose-built time to connect, whether that’s networking on the exhibition floor or after hours at our drink’s receptions or dinner.

CONROO
CONROO’s mission is to drive logistics toward autonomy. The company is redefining how terminals, depots, and the trucking community collaborate by making third-party truck handling faster, safer, and smarter. By transforming truck drivers’ mobile devices into intelligent sensors, CONROO seamlessly connects terminals and depots with the trucking ecosystem. Today, CONROO works with more than 35 terminals and depots worldwide, including APMT, EUROGATE, duisport, MGT, Deutsche Bahn, and many others.
The CONROO platform supports terminal operations through three integrated modules: Pre-Connect, Gate-Connect (including Gate Pass), and Yard-Connect.
Pre-Connect is an AI-powered slot management solution that aligns third-party truck arrival times with terminal capacity by incorporating real-time ETAs and live slot availability, enabling precise planning.
Gate-Connect automates and secures gate processing by combining access checks, arrival verification, and digital counters into a single controlled flow. That covers all relevant processes including customs and dangerous goods. CONROO Gate Pass acts as an ISPS-compliant digital ID for truck drivers, replacing RFID cards and physical checks.
Inside the terminal, Yard-Connect supports structured yard operations by adapting to the specific layout and workflows of each site. Integrated into the CONROO mobile app and activated through local geofencing, it provides drivers with clear digital guidance while giving terminal teams real-time visibility of truck movement. This reduces uncoordinated driving, shortens dwell times, and improves safety and security.
