Kymati GmbH
Kymati GmbH is a German technology company specialising in industrial radar-based sensing solutions for safety, positioning, and automation in harsh environments. Headquartered in Munich, Kymati develops and manufactures high-performance radar systems designed to operate reliably where optical technologies struggle, including dust, rain, fog, vibration, and extreme temperatures.
In container terminals, Kymati delivers proven solutions for automated and semi-automated operations, supporting RTGs, RMGs, STS cranes, straddle carriers, AGVs, and terminal vehicles. Its radar-based Position Detection Systems (PDS) and anti-collision solutions provide accurate absolute positioning, distance measurement, and obstacle detection—fully independent of GPS. This ensures reliable operation in areas with limited or unavailable satellite coverage, such as under cranes, near steel structures, or inside dense terminal layouts.
Unlike camera, UWB or LiDAR-only systems, Kymati’s radar technology guarantees consistent performance day and night and in all weather conditions. Kymati works closely with global terminal operators, OEMs, and system integrators to deliver scalable, integration-ready solutions for both greenfield and retrofit projects. With reference installations in leading container terminals worldwide, Kymati supports the transition towards smarter, safer, and more resilient port operations—reducing downtime, improving safety margins, and enabling robust automation independent of external positioning infrastructure.

Loadmaster.ai
Loadmaster.ai is revolutionising container terminal operations through advanced AI planning solutions. As a joint venture between frontiergroup.ai and IT Partner, the company combine operations expertise with cutting-edge reinforcement learning to automate real-time planning decision-making.
Unlike competitors relying on historic data and patterns, their proprietary AI agents are trained via millions of simulations in a digital twin environment of the terminal. This allows their systems to anticipate operational challenges and adapt in real-time to high terminal workloads.
Unlike traditional rule-based systems, Loadmaster.ai’s software enables flexible (re-)planning, eliminating the need to manually smooth day-to-day operational processes. Their product suite covers three complex planning challenges:
- StowAI – transforms vessel planning by generating crane and bay sequences in an instance while supporting continuous replanning as container yards change.
- StackAI – automates yard planning by intelligently providing container positions, reducing empty space reservations and driving distances.
- JobAI – optimises equipment scheduling, flexibly assigning jobs at the right moment to minimise delays and idle time.
Operational at Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals, Loadmaster.ai’s AI agents unlock hidden terminal capacity by streamlining operations to boost throughput and lower costs.
Join them as they pave the way for the future of smarter, more effective terminal operations.

Stowlog
Stowlog is a modular Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that digitalizes safety, security, and compliance processes within port and logistics facilities, addressing the industry’s reliance on fragmented and manual workflows, which often limit visibility and increase operational risk in high-risk environments.
The platform provides a centralized system for managing safety inductions, contractor and visitor management, permit-to-work processes, real-time people geolocation, 3D facility mapping, and risk assessments among others. All data is captured in real time, creating auditable records and improving situational awareness for HSSE teams.
Stowlog is currently deployed across multiple port and logistics facilities worldwide, with presence around 15 countries in 4 continents, supporting safety managers and security professionals in delivering safer, more compliant operations.

Testimonials
Charity Partners
Port Technology International has launched a new initiative to support Cancer Research UK and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care in honour of our colleague and friend, Chris Murphy, who sadly passed away in September 2025. Throughout 2026, we will be running fundraising activities across our events and digital media channels, helping to raise awareness and contribute to the vital work of both organisations. This project reflects our commitment to honouring Chris’ memory and supporting causes that make a meaningful difference.
We’re the world’s leading cancer charity, dedicated to saving and improving lives with our research, influence and information. Over the past 50 years, our pioneering work has helped double cancer survival in the UK. And today it’s continuing to save lives, here and around the world.
Our vision is a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. And step by step, day by day, our researchers are making this vision a reality thanks to our dedicated community of supporters, partners, donors, fundraisers, volunteers and staff.
Together we are beating cancer.
For over 40 years, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care has provided vital care and support to patients and families across West Surrey and North East Hampshire.
Our Mission: We will care compassionately for adults approaching the end of life, and their families and carers, and we will empower our local community, building skills in caring for people at the end of their lives. Because every day is precious.
As an independent charity, Phyllis Tuckwell must raise over £25,000 every day to continue offering comfort, dignity, and specialist care to those facing terminal illness.
Every donation, big or small, helps make a lasting difference to those who need it most.
